Darin, a talented Thai jewelry designer has organized a jewelry co-op in Fang, Thailand. Also, known as Wiang Fang, it is in the northern Chiang Mai Province where job options are limited. Each necklace purchase provides Darin, her mother, and other women in the village with equitable work while allowing them to remain local. This ethical employment allows them to use their traditional jewelry crafting talents, while allowing them to stay local and assist in caring for their families.
